Looking Back: The Key Moments That Shaped Our 2025

With just a few days left before the year comes to an end, that inevitable moment arrives to pause for a second, look back, and put everything we’ve lived through into perspective. Twelve months that have flown by, yet have been filled with challenges, learnings, milestones, and decisions that have shaped the direction of Plain Concepts.

We know that a year like 2025 cannot be captured in a video that’s just over a minute long. That’s why, before sharing our video recap, we want to revisit some of the most relevant moments that have defined this year: growth, innovation, new markets, strategic launches, and above all, the work of a team that never stops pushing itself further. A journey through the milestones that make 2025 a year we feel especially proud of.

Integrating Apiumhub and Ardanis into the Plain Concepts ecosystem

With a clear focus on continued growth and expanding our capabilities, Apiumhub and Ardanis joined the Plain Concepts ecosystem this year, strengthening our value proposition and giving new momentum to our presence both nationally and internationally.

Strategic partnership with Solutions by stc

In addition, at Plain Concepts, together with our strategic partner Bejo, we have signed a collaboration agreement with Solutions by stc to drive innovation and the development of phygital experiences, combining the physical and digital worlds. A key step in strengthening our presence in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia (KSA).

New verticals: Impact Studios and AI Security Studios

This year marked a qualitative leap in our strategic and execution capabilities with the launch of two key new verticals. On one hand, Impact Studios, led by Joan Camprubí, was created to help organizations turn technology and Artificial Intelligence into faster decision-making and measurable business outcomes, combining strategy, execution, and intelligent agents with a strong focus on impact and ROI.

On the other hand, AI Security Studios, led by Xavi Pes, reinforces our commitment to advanced cybersecurity, delivering solutions designed to anticipate, prevent, and respond to increasingly complex threats, powered by automation and generative AI.

Both initiatives have generated strong interest across the industry, with coverage in leading economic and technology media such as El Economista, Expansión, Silicon, and Revista Byte.

Key advances in Evergine with new releases and technical capabilities

Product innovation has once again taken center stage. As every year, we delivered two major releases of Evergine, introducing significant new features such as the new Add-On for PointCloud, WebGPU support on the web, and Mesh Shader support, among many other enhancements.

Celebrando, conectando y construyendo: nuestro año en eventos

Celebrating, connecting, and building: our year in events

2025 was also a year to come together, share knowledge, and continue building community. We hosted two editions of Singularity Tech Day (6th and 7th), reaching Madrid for the first time with an audience of 250 attendees, and hosting an edition in Barcelona with nearly 300 participants.

The dotNET 2025 edition was the biggest to date, with more than 1,000 attendees enjoying a day packed with inspiring talks and networking… and hosted at none other than Kinépolis! And if the last edition exceeded your expectations, get ready — very soon we’ll be announcing something that’s sure to catch your interest.

Also in October, Barcelona hosted a new edition of the Global Software Architecture Summit (GSAS), co-organized with ApiumHub. It was the most well-attended edition of the event to date: three days focused on software architecture, hands-on workshops, and conversations around balancing technical decisions with business value, held at the Auditori L’Illa.

In addition, we took part in more than 100 events throughout the year, collaborating in different ways and further strengthening our presence within the technology ecosystem.

    Recognition that drives us forward

Once again, El Mundo has recognized us as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Spain, achieving our highest-ever position in the ranking. An achievement that reflects our strong commitment to team well-being, professional development, flexibility, remote work, and work-life balance.

Above all, this growth is reflected in our people: we closed 2024 with 500 employees, and today we are already more than 700.

Thank you to everyone who is part of this journey and to all those who have supported us throughout the year. We continue to grow, innovate, and build the future together.
