dotNET 2025, the largest to date, ends and has been a great success

    dotNET 2025 Recap

We are wrapping up dotNET 2025, and we couldn’t be happier with the results of this eighth edition, which has undoubtedly been one of the most special to date.

We closed this incredible day with nearly 1,000 attendees, all the talks packed, talks that have managed to engage from minute one, and a unique opportunity to see old acquaintances and connect with new technology enthusiasts.

We started the day with a brief presentation of the event and a review of the 7 previous editions, by the Executive President of Plain Concepts, Pablo Pelaez, followed by a dynamic format as an interview with Hector Garcia, CTO and General Manager, Customer Success at Microsoft.

After the warm-up, it was the turn of James Montemagno, Developer Community Lead, and Glenn Condron, Senior Program Manager .NET, from Microsoft to take the stage. Two regulars of this event, and recently arrived from Seattle, were in charge of doing a mini MSFT Build exclusively in Spain, where they reviewed the most important releases of the company, as well as commenting on the future of software engineering and DevOps with AI.

Attendees were early risers and did not want to miss any of the event, and, from early in the morning, Kinepolis Ciudad de la Imagen in Madrid was full of hundreds of technology enthusiasts, who wanted to join us in the largest edition of dotNET to date.

After a break to regain strength, it was the turn of Isabel Delgado, Eva Jurado and Leyre de la Calzada, from Microsoft, as well as Mar Llambí, from Siemens, Ana Escobar, from Intel or Javier Carnero, Jorge Cantón and Rodrigo Cabello, from Plain Concepts, with whom we learned about the future of AI in business, cybersecurity, edge AI, model context protocol, etc.

To end the morning, it was the turn of Manuel Sánchez, from NTT Data, Carlos Mendible, Miguel Fierro, and Vívian Paive, from Microsoft, and Ariel Hernández, from Databricks, with whom we immersed ourselves in the world of microservices, Minecraft or data intelligence.

It was time to rest and recover strength in the break for lunch, which gave way to the afternoon session. The first to take the stages of the three tracks were David Carmona, Vice President and CTO for Strategic Incubations at Microsoft, Luis Fraile, Diego Rodríguez, Inés Pérez, and Jorge Perona, from Plain Concepts. With them, we were able to learn a little more about Quantum technology, Copilot, GitHub and Azure Arc.

After the halfway point of the day and with the last talks on the agenda, Miguel Ángel Durán (Midudev discloser), Víctor Rubio, from Plain Concepts, Raúl Piraces, from SCRM and Diego Loira, from Luckia, showed interesting views on whether the web has become intelligent, keys to authentication or how to accelerate our production process from zero to Kubernetes.

And it was time to close the day with the expected closing talks by another regular of this event, Chema Alonso, who unraveled the world of the hacker in the GenAI era; Alberto Molina and David Hernandez, from Microsoft, who delved into Agentic DevOps with GitHub and MCP; and Andoni Santamaria, from Plain Concepts, who delved into Bootstrap 101 .NET, and the keys to make technical and cultural decisions from day 1.

And with the end of the talks came the traditional raffle, where two lucky attendees won a Raspberry, a drone, or a Star Wars Lego figurine.

The final point was the afterwork, where the bravest who endured this marathon day could relax and have a drink just like the rest of the attendees to share impressions, reconnect with colleagues and friends, and reflect on everything they had learned during the day.

We would like to thank our sponsors Intel, NTT Data, Microsoft, Intelequia, and Raiola Networks for helping us to make the event happen, the amazing speakers who made this edition so special, and all the attendees (new and old) who trusted us one more year. See you at dotNET 2026!
