BBVA Valora View, the Augmented Reality app

BBVA Valora View, the Augmented Reality app

Buying a house is a carefully considered decision: it should be a place that will last us for many years and where we will forge part of our lives. We will decorate it to our taste, organise parties or maybe even start a family.
In addition to our personal tastes, factors such as price, neighbourhood and mortgage all play a part in finding the ideal place.
If you have a large amount of well-analysed data, the chances of finding the house you are looking for are easier.
BBVA Valora View is a mobile app that helps customers find properties for rent or sale. It is the first European banking application that allows home search with augmented reality and transforms the way people find their new home.
BBVA is one of the largest financial institutions in the world, with markets mainly in Spain, South America, Mexico and Turkey.

    Our Challenge:

Before the internet revolution, the common housing search process was to walk around the desired neighbourhood looking for rental or for sale signs.
BBVA Valora View is a digital evolution of this approach, using augmented reality to show properties for sale or rent. Therefore, BBVA needed a unique application in the market that would successfully achieve the company’s ambitious goals.

    The process

The process The app blends big data, Xamarin and augmented reality to transform the way people find their new home.

With these technologies, it displays neighbourhood statistics that indicate what a house might be worth in the future and thus point to a good offer price based on historical data for the area.

It has a mortgage calculator and an online mortgage application option.

    Results

    • It provides real-time information about the house and the neighbourhood.
    • It helps to understand elements such as renovation and insurance costs.

We are ready for new challenges
