Upmédica is a hub for digital health services that has been integrated with the hospital’s medical HIS and has managed to increase the number of patients.
BHD Consulting is a company committed to making the most of technology applied to medicine and consultations with specialists from anywhere. Founded in 2015, they have focused their activity on digital transformation technology consulting, with a focus on e-health.
BHD had already made possible the digital transformation of the Fundación Hospital General Santísima Trinidad de Salamanca (FHGST), which had a website that allowed scheduling appointments, but that went unnoticed among patients.
To reach as many of them as possible, it needed an app to host all the data in the cloud and thus ensure that the parties involved have access and are connected in real time whenever they need it, in addition to communicating with other devices that further broaden the spectrum of monitored variables.



The process
To give BHD the platform it needed, an environment has been created in which medical teams are connected by digital interconsultation, with access to their patients’ data and the ability to interact with them.
The patient can make consultations, both online and in person, exchange medical documents, download prescriptions, view their history. All this on the same platform with a simple and intuitive interface.
App development with Azure, Identity Server, ASP.NET and AngularJS.
It provides a streamlined and optimized browsing and videoconferencing experience anywhere on the planet. In addition, the platform guarantees data security and has a solid legal and technological base.
To host this data, Microsoft Azure was chosen, which has allowed the interconnection of all parties, the sharing of information and real-time access to all data stored in the cloud.
